Trek Equipment and Facilities

In order to give our clients total satisfaction we are committed to supplying you with the best available trekking & camping equipment.

All our tents are of good quality with a proven weather protection system plus our sleeping bags are specially made to protect you from the cold in high altitudes. A toilet tent is also provided.

All our food is fresh & of good quality & is cooked onsite. Our porters cook by gas not wood thereby protecting the natural environment.

We serve you 3 meals a day consisting of typical Indonesian fare such as fried rice, fried noodles, Gado Gado ( a mix of vegetables, tofu & rice served with a peanut sauce) & curry.  Breakfast is toast & pancakes.  We also provide our guests with fresh fruit such as apples, bananas, pineapple, oranges and melon plus chocolate snacks. Vegetarian meals are also available.

Tea & coffee are served plus each day a soft drink and of course unlimited fresh drinking water.

We hire only professional mountain guides & porters from the surrounding areas of Rinjani National Park. All of them have passed their guiding & handling test & hold a valid guide license. They are all trained in rubbish management & will remove every last scrap of evidence that they have been on the mountain.

We are also keen to develop the Eco Tourism concept by donating funds to the local community to support education for the poor children in isolated villages.

To trek Rinjani you need to be reasonably fit & should be able to carry your own small backpack throughout the trek.
